White Tern Gallery

White Terns are common on Midway with about 7,500 nesting pairs. They lay their eggs on fences, building ledges, branches and even faucet handles. The sometimes hover a foot or 2 above your head and call quietly which is when these pictures were taken.

  1. Gary,
Very nice posting on the garden and on the tern and albatross. I like those-- I learn and I enjoy the cool pictures. Your blog is an interesting site. I look forward to your new postings. What kind of work are you doing with all that time you have? Regards from the guys at Grande, too, JV
