I wander the beaches regularly and the amount and diversity of trash is amazing. Some items obviously come from earlier times on Midway and other things come from Asia. The tons of plastic and fishing debris is especially troublesome. Here is a small gallery of objects from Eastern Island this past week. Snoopy plastic ball, a lobster tail, a large broken, Japanese glass float and blue plastic rope, and the bathroom sink.
